What is the GHRKit?
The GHRKit is the original Gimbal Housing Repair Kit developed by Ed Hamlin. It is designed to repair damage and corrosion at the bellows mounting area of the gimbal housing/transom assembly as an alternative to replacing the damaged housing.
What type of gimbal housing damage does the GHRKit address?

Does the GHRKit replace the entire gimbal housing or transom assembly?

Which GHRKit fits MerCruiser Alpha, TRX and Bravo drives?
GHR1 is for Alpha One and older TRX drives. GHR2 is for Alpha One Gen II (second generation). GHR3 is for all Bravo drives.

Should I buy a used gimbal housing or repair the housing I have?
That depends on the condition and application of the housing. A used or replacement housing is one repair path; a GHRKit may provide another when the damage is at the bellows mounting area and the application is suitable. Compare used or replacement housings with GHRKit repair.
What is GHRKit Space Age Epoxy used for?

Is it “gimbal housing” or “gimble housing”?
